An aircraft plug can only transfer 90 kVA and during the last couple of years, the trend has been to install one GPU per plug. In consequence, we have developed the AXA 2200 Compact – an optimized version of the AXA 2200 series.
With one stroke, this new way of thinking – One Plug – One GPU - has made life easier for the purchaser of 400 Hz. He will no longer experience problems with the voltage quality at the plug as this is fully controlled via the GPU’s virtual plug voltage sensing. And should the power requirement of a stand increase, he can always buy an additional 90 kVA unit.
The AXA 2200 Compact is just as simple and easy to operate as its predecessor, but it is much smaller and approx. 200 kg lighter - and still it has the same good performances and unique features.
