An external emergency stop is used in case of a bridge- mounted unit – or in case of a unit placed in a building away from the point-of-use where it is not easy to get access to the emergency stop mounted on the GPU. The external emergency stop is connected in series with the one at the GPU. When activated, it ensures that the GPU will be without any voltage at the output. In case that several GPUs make up one system, we recommend to have one common external stop that cuts off the whole installation, if applied. The emergency stop is as a standard delivered with 25 m of control cable.
